Current Stuff: A Film, A Funny Car Simulator, AV Genius, and Faithful Men Part IV!

Well, what a difference a year makes. We've done a wild variety of projects
We worked on the film '13 Hours in a Warehouse' from July until December.
Chris, David and Greg did the production sound, and we did all of the post-production work: Greg and Chris scored the film and did the sound design (yeah!), and Greg edited (and mixed) the film with Writer and Director Dav Kaufman and created the full featured DVD too.
It was a good 1000 hours of work, but we think it turned out to be really good.
Now it's been picked up for global distribution (to be released in October) and has won the top award at four film festivals.
We're starting the pre-production for Dav's next film - more budget and more help, and hopefully an even better film.

We just finished DVD's and Web videos for Fidelis Foundation, Mike Huey, the grand opening of a Russian Church, and Vision Van Gogh.

But the craziest thing I've worked on in a while was the Funny Car simulation ride. We shot Hi-Def video using a three-camera rig mounted on the front of a truck. One pointing forward, and one pointing to each side. The cameras were aligned to simulate the view out of the front and side windows of a Funny Car !
We made several passes down a drag strip in Georgia (west of Macon) in late February, alongside of an actual Funny Car in order to create the footage for the simulator. I also got some great (and terrifying) sound of a Funny Car from directly beside it, doing a burnout (WOW is all I can say!)
Then the footage was combined with CG to be displayed on three Hi-def screens in the simulator.

We just finished Faithful Men's 4th CD which they're calling the "Hymn" CD on the audio side.
We recorded simple and classic Hymns live and it really turned out nice.
Now we're working on a 5.1 mix for a product tour theatre.

Here's my Egypt page from The Exodus Project.
A lot of people tell me they read it so I'll leave it up.
It had to be one of the most exciting projects I've worked on - I posted a diary and pics here -> Egypt page.
